SOAR® is an emerging multifaceted alternative therapy platform seeking to serve Survivors of traumatic events, and those carrying PTSD/ C-PTSD, throughout their daily lives. We assist survivors from all realms of Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Community Violence and Combat Violence. If you suffer from PTSD or have a loved one suffering from PTSD and would like to seek assistance with SOAR® please contact jmcghee@syr.edu. You will be added to our mailing list for updates with progress of the program and given resources and tools to help with where you are currently standing.      SOAR® will be offering a range of Cathartic Expressive Arts workshops and Transcendental Meditation via the Spark Contemporary Art Space beginning Fall 2019. 

     If you are certified in Expressive Arts Therapy, Wilderness Therapy, Agriculture, Yoga and Kundalini Yoga, are a Martial Arts Instructor or, a Transcendental Meditation Instructor, a Vipassana Instructor, Integrated Mind Body Therapist, Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, Trauma-Informed/ Nature-Assisted/ CBT or DBT Psychologist or Therapist- please reach out as well. We are looking for you. If you are a Teaching Artist (Visual Arts, FabLab, Ceramics, Woodcrafting, Performance Art, Dance, Music, Poerty, -any genre), an OG Against Violence representative, Substance Abuse Counselor, an Avid Gardener, a Farmer/ Farmhand, Nature  Lover, Yoga Instructor, or Physical Trainer, or are well versed in Fundraising, please reach out as well.
